Lottie I - Founder & English, Business & Theatre Tutor

Band 4 Tutor

Lottie is the Founder and Director of Scholearn, and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company. She is also working as a Marketing Manager for her new venture, Lottie Ingham Marketing. She has an MSc in Management and a BA in English Literature & Theatre Studies.

Lottie enjoys performing and has worked in professional film and theatre. She enjoys reading, going to the gym and watching horror movies. She has over 5 years of tutoring experience, including classroom experience, and tutors in English, Business, and Drama / Theatre Studies.

Ella L - Mathematics, Psychology and English Tutor

Band 3 Tutor

Ella is a Psychology graduate who attended Durham University. She is currently working as a teaching assistant and an assistant youth support worker, with a view to completing a PhD in Educational Psychology in the next 5 years. 

She has a passion for helping students to enjoy their subjects, and a proven track record of improving their grades by building their confidence.

Ella enjoys watching Netflix shows, singing loudly in the car and baking banana bread.

Sam D - Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry & Biology Tutor

Band 4 Tutor

Sam is a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor with a Master's Degree in Physics, specialising in terahertz linear particle accelerators.

Sam's tutoring philosophy centres around making complex concepts more accessible and clarifying intricate ideas. With over 150 hours of tutoring experience, Sam is deeply committed to students success.

Sam enjoys chess, is an avid runner, and can solve a Rubik’s cube in under 30 seconds.

Lily A -

Mathematics & French Tutor

Band 2 Tutor

Lily is a tutor in Mathematics and French. She is currently studying a BSc in Mathematics with French.

Since the age of sixteen, Lily has worked with children in primary school, secondary school, and Sixth Form to achieve their academic and personal goals. She has also completed a Primary Outreach Project and worked with Future Teaching Scholars to learn about efficient teaching.

Lily aims to make education an accessible opportunity for all students, regardless of background or circumstance. She has also had experience in working with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly autistic students.

Lily enjoys exercising, walking her dog, and taking care of herself to boost her mental health. She was the secretary of her university’s first mental health-focused society and believes that support for mental health is just as important as physical health.

Katie H - Mathematics Tutor

Band 2 Tutor

Katie is a Mathematics tutor for students in KS3 and those studying for their GCSE’s.

She is passionate about Mathematics and determined to lead students to be able to reach their full potential in the subject.

 

Thomas W - History & Politics Tutor

Band 3 Tutor

Thomas is a tutor in History and Politics with an Undergraduate degree in History and Masters in Management.

He has a love of History and Politics with specialisms in the 20th Century, especially the Second World War and Cold War. Thomas is passionate about inspiring students in the subject and showing how history forged the world we see around us today.

Thomas has an interest in all things trains, planes and ships (especially RMS Titanic), enjoys going to the gym and discussing the latest football results.

 

Zee Jiwa - Psychology, Sociology & Religious Studies Tutor

Band 3 Tutor

Zee is a Psychology graduate who is working as a teaching assistant for year 5 & 6 and also tutoring year 6 for SATs. She is currently pursuing the completion of a QTS to become a qualified teacher, with a view to becoming a Headteacher in the future.

She has many years of tutoring and mentoring experience with students from various ages, from Primary schools to A-level/BTEC, with a record of increasing student grades and confidence across subjects such as Business, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, ICT and History.

Zee’s hard work, passion and dedication to her students ensures they thrive and excel the best they can while making studying fun and interesting! She also has experience in exam marking and proof reading across all ages and has worked with SEN students, such as those with ADHD.

Zee enjoys going to the gym and baking, which she finds is very therapeutic. She was also an advocate for mental health whilst completing her degree, so she stresses the importance of relaxing when things are stressful. She loves going to the cinema and cat cafes!
